Bahrain’s Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group to digitally transform operations

YBA Kanoo Group operates in with SAP Real-Time Business Suite

The Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group, one of the largest independent family-owned multinationals in the Middle East, recently announced a digital transformation partnership with global technology company SAP to bolster the region’s diversified economic growth.

The Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group operates an extensive portfolio of divisions in shipping, logistics, travel, industrial and energy, capital, and real estate across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia.

With innovative capabilities that will support the digital transformation aspirations of the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group (YBAK) businesses, YBAK has strategically chosen to partner with SAP with their S/4 HANA cloud solution.

Through this implementation YBAK group will have the business capability to make informed business decision based on real-time analytics through SAP technologies, a press statement indicated.

“Our digital transformation with SAP will deliver real-time dashboards and instant financial reporting to ensure our competitiveness, competence, and fairness,” observed Khalid Mohamed Kanoo, Chairman, Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group.

In its digital roadmap, the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group will work with the channel partner Kaar Technologies to deploy a wide range of solutions.

“Conglomerates such as the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group need to have full visibility on all lines of business – and that requires a foundation of real-time technology,” noted Ahmed Alfaifi, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, SAP Middle East North.
