New appointments part of the company’s global growth plans
WIZ, a tech-enabled freight forwarding platform has strengthened its Global Leadership team elevating Krishnakumar V as Global Chief Operating Officer and Satish Lakkaraju as Global Head of Air Freight and Pharma Vertical, it was announced in a press communique.
Previously, Krishnakumar and Satish were Chief Executive Officer of WIZ India and Senior Vice President of WIZ respectively.
Krishnakumar will work with WIZ founders Ramkumar Govindarajan & Ramkumar Ramachandran to drive the global expansion of new markets and help in setting up operational expertise in existing & new markets.
Krishnakumar joined WIZ freight in January 2022 as CEO for India. He comes with more than two decades of experience in the logistics industry with experience in international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, distribution, and project logistics.
Satish also joined WIZ Freight in January 2022 as Sr. Vice President. He started his professional journey in the industry 27 years ago and has evolved to become an experienced sales & commercial head with a demonstrated history of working in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Chennai, India based-Wiz is the fastest growing digital cross-border supply chain start-up in emerging markets. Started in August 2020, the company has now grown to a team of 650+ with offices across 25+ locations, the press statement concluded.
